Whatta Mom Comedy Show

About the Event
Celebrate Mother's Day Eve with our “Whatta Mom” show. This broad-appeal comedy night features stand-up gals who cook up and dish out laughs for everyone. Give the special woman in your life, or yourself, something unique with this entertaining evening at Common Grounds. It's cheaper, fewer calories and funnier than brunch.
Featuring Aniria Turney, a “Best of the Bay” Tampa comic whose credits include Chicago Med and Netflix original movie Naked with Marlon Wayans, Kaiti McCoy, a regular at Side Splitters- Tampa who shares her life as a lazy millennial and accidental cat lady; Heather Campese, who takes you on a hilarious journey through middle aged 'singleness,” Lynn Lane, a McCurdy's Open Mic and Visani's Got Talent comedy winner who always has something up her sleeve or in her bra; Tara Zimmerman, a Side Splitter's and McCurdy's Open Mic finalist who's been making people laugh for over a decade. Your host is Kathy McSteen. A Visani's First Comic Standing finalist and producer of Women of Comedy and the Are You Experienced comedy shows, Kathy invites you to laugh at this round up of witty women.
Tickets are available online for only $20. If you wait and try to buy them at the door, it will cost you $25, so it's best if you buy your tickets now.
As always, Common Grounds is a BYOB VENUE. That means, if you want a glass of wine or a bottle of beer, then you will need to bring it from home. We'll be happy to sell you bottled water and snacks.
And remember, while there may be a line, there is NEVER A CHARGE TO USE THE RESTROOM. They are ALWAYS FREE!!!
